I decided that I was going to make one New Year's Resolution this year.
Take more pictures.
I got a new P&S digital camera for Christmas. This will make this task easier.
The one problem with SLR cameras, is that they're huge. I can't exactly carry the D70 around with me everywhere I go. Now that I have a compact camera, I can take spur-of-the-moment snapshots with ease.
Now that comes to this. One way to get my ass in gear, and sticking to the picture taking regimen, I need a goal.
My goal: Post at least one photo a day, for all of 2008.
I just spent an hour and a half deleting the old (abysmal) posts from this blog, and I'm prepared to start this task.
Now of course, there will be breaks in the action. There will be times when I don't have internet access, or I am just so busy I can't do anything. I know that. But that just means the next day, double the pictures.
We will start with this little gem...
The first (real) picture taken with my new camera. I promise this won't be filled with stupid things like that.
As much as I would like it to be that only artistic stuff makes it here, its just not going to happen. So yeah, some of the stuff will be lame. But hopefully I can get some golden apples.
